A few interesting General Aviation (GA) aircraft were spotted and noted at Rockhampton Airport on Friday 1 August including Austrek Aviation Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-JEA which flew in from its Toowoomba base.
Of note, the Super King Air performed some navigational aid (NAVAID) calibration airwork to the North-West of Rockhampton Airport before eventually landing at Rocky.
It departed in the early afternoon back to Toowoomba, but not before performing yet more airwork in a similar area.
Spotted departing Rockhampton for parts unknown was Airvan Flight Services (of Victoria) Gippsland Aeronautics GA-8-TC 320 Airvan VH-CIK.
New South Wales-based Cessna 210L VH-KWS was spotted departing to Mount Isa. It arrived the previous day.
Finally, R-Mach Aviation's recently registered Lancair 4 VH-XVP departed early on Friday 1 August for Archerfield. It arrived from there on Tuesday 29 July. It is believed that VH-XVP was re-registered from N43D only during the last week.
