Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III A41-207 was captured by local plane spotter 'IAD' conducting a missed approach at Rockhampton Airport on Friday 29 August.
Flying as "Stallion 06", the C-17 came up from RAAF Base Amberley, and after conducting the missed approach, it then conducted further airwork in the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA). It then returned to Amberley, however, it was later sighted conducting airwork over Maryborough.
Thanks to 'IAD' for sending through these great photos!
