Local plane spotter Micah S has sent through some stunning photos from Tuesday 19 August as JetGo Australia Embraer E-135 VH-JTG popped into Bundaberg Airport.
As we reported below, VH-JTG was operating a training flight, which saw it fly from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast and then Bundaberg as JG90. It departed Bundy and returned to the Sunshine Coast as JG91, before continuing on to Brisbane.
I understand that officials from the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) were on board the flight as a part of JetGo's push to launch Regular Passenger Transport (RPT) flights in the future.
I believe that RPT flights linking Roma to Sydney are on the horizon, with no doubt, more training and possible route proving flights set to occur over the next few weeks.
Sincere thanks to Micah for taking the time to capture these simply stunning images, and for allowing us to share them on the CQ Plane Spotting Blog!
