Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Airbus A330-203 / KC-30A (MRTT) A39-004 Missed Approach at Rockhampton Airport

Despite the gloomy weather at Rockhampton Airport on Friday 15 August, local plane spotter 'IAD' managed to capture some great photos as Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Airbus A330-203 / KC-30A (MRTT) A39-004 conducted a missed approach on Runway 15.

The MRTT - flying as "Dragon 02" - was noted to fly up from the South, and after completing the approach, it departed to Darwin via Emerald.  It is assumed that A39-004 will continue its participation in the RAAF's Exercise Pitch Black in the Northern Territory.
