Spectrem Douglas (Basler) BT-67 Turbo-67 (DC-3) ZS-ASN Departs Rockhampton Airport

A spectacular aircraft that became a star attraction at Rockhampton Airport over the last couple of days, has departed on Wednesday 16 May to South Australia.

Spectrem Douglas (Basler) BT-67 Turbo-67 (DC-3) ZS-ASN touched down at Rockhampton on Monday 14 May from Townsville and has been the subject of much media and local attention.  The lovely old - but heavily modified - Douglas DC-3, operated an aerial survey on behalf of Anglo Operations on Tuesday 15 May.

It departed about 11am on Wednesday, heading towards South Australia.  We hope to see it again sometime!
