REMINDER! Virgin Australia Commence Scheduled Services to Moranbah Airport Tuesday - Tomorrow!!

Moranbah residents and aviation enthusiasts alike - get excited!

Virgin Australia scheduled services to the mining town are set to start this week, with the first flight due to touch down from Brisbane early on Tuesday 2 April.

The first VOZ1661 flight will arrive into Moranbah at around 7.45am, before the return VOZ1662 departs back to Brisbane at 8.15am.  Later in the day, VOZ1667 arrives into Moranbah at 4.55pm, and the VOZ1668 flight to Brisbane departs at around 5.20pm.

All flights will be operated by Skywest Airlines-operated ATR 72 Turboprop aircraft.  Services will initially operate twice daily return flights on weekdays, before increasing to thrice daily return flights from mid-April.  On weekends, Virgin Australia will operate one daily return flight to Moranbah every Sunday.
