Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Lockheed C-130J-30 Hercules Transport Aircraft A97-440 Pops into Rockhampton Airport

During the afternoon on Friday 15 June, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Lockheed C-130J-30 Hercules transport aircraft A97-440 was spotted visiting Rockhampton Airport yet again.





On this occasion, it looked to arrive into Rocky from the South-East - noted flying at low-level - using the radio callsign of "Trojan 32".

After a short time on the ground, A97-440 departed to Canberra.

Meanwhile, the visiting pair of RAAF Alenia C-27J Spartan transport aircraft continue to come and go at Rockhampton Airport.  Late on Wednesday 13 June, A34-006 "Wallaby 03" was noted departing Rockhampton Airport for RAAF Base Amberley.  Then on Thursday 14 June, it was then noted operating low-level sorties down to the South-West of Warwick from and back to Amberley.  While on Friday 15 June, A34-005 "Wallaby 05" departed Rockhampton Airport and completed a low-level sortie to the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA) and back.
