With the State Government election less than a week away, on
Monday 26 October, both of the Queensland Government Airwing (State of Queensland) aircraft - Raytheon Hawker 850XP bizjet VH-SGY and Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-SGQ - were noted calling into a couple of CQ Airports.

Super King Air VH-SGQ flew up to Bowen Airport from Brisbane before it later was due to fly to Bundaberg Airport. It instead, landed at Rockhampton Airport before returning to Brisbane.
While Hawker 850XP VH-SGY flew into Rockhampton Airport from Brisbane. It then returned to Brisbane operating a medical evacuation flight.
Also on Monday 26 October, the Queensland Police Service (Airwing) (State of Queensland) Raytheon B1900D VH-PSK was back in the air and also calling into Rockhampton Airport twice during a busy day of flying between Cairns and Brisbane.
Meanwhile, also on Monday 26 October, the visiting Gulf Aircraft Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign bizjet VH-PYN was noted departing Hamilton Island Airport for Brisbane. It had arrived from there on Friday 23 October.
Finally, also on Monday 26 October, Seair Pacific / Istlecote Cessna 208 Caravan VH-TQW flew into Middlemount Aerodrome from Hervey Bay (Fraser Coast) and Maryborough Airports before later returning to Hervey Bay Airport.
Of interest, also on Monday 26 October, fellow Seair Textron Aviation (Cessna) 208B Caravan VH-TLH completed another tourist charter flight from the Gold Coast to Charleville and Birdsville Airports. At the time of writing, it is due to Longreach, Gladstone and Lady Elliot Island Airports on Tuesday 27 October.
While Hinterland Aviation Cessna 208 Caravan VH-LZK arrived into Rockhampton Airport as 'HND728' and joined fellow Cessna 208 Caravan VH-ETF in operating some of the daily Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter flights to and back from the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's Carmichael Coal Mine site.
