Hinterland Aviation Cessna 402C VH-TFK Spotted at Rockhampton Airport - Plus More Lighties Around CQ Airports!

On Friday 9 October, Hinterland Aviation Cessna 402C VH-TFK was spotted at Rockhampton Airport.  It looked to arrive into Rocky direct from Cairns as "Hinterland 626" and later return there but as "Hinterland 420".


Also on Friday 9 October, Hinterland Aviation Cessna 208 Caravan VH-NDC popped back into Clermont Aerodrome from the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's Carmichael Coal Mine site.  It had earlier flown into Labona from Rockhampton Airport as HND630 and flew to Clermont Aerodrome as HND631.  VH-NDC then returned to Rocky as HND632.

Also at Clermont Aerodrome, the visiting Mackellar Mining Equipment / Flight Options (Australia) Cessna 560 Citation Ultra bizjet VH-MMC, which arrived from the Sunshine Coast the previous day, was noted departing back there also on Friday 9 October.  

Another bizjet to visit CQ, also on Friday 9 October, was Mitchell Water Cessna 525 Citation M2 bizjet VH-WMY which visited Bowen Airport from Melbourne (Moorabbin) via Archerfield.

Meanwhile, back at Rockhampton Airport, also on Friday 9 October, Townsville Airlines Beech 1900D VH-RUE visited once again, arriving from Brisbane and departing to Townsville while on another busy day of flying out of and back to Cairns.

While Emerald-based Heli Central Williams Helicopter Corp (Bell) UH-1H Huey VH-UHH arrived into Rockhampton Airport from Bundaberg Airport as "Helitack 468'.  The big Huey has reportedly been working out of Maryborough Airport for much of this week. 

UPDATE!  On Tuesday 13 October, VH-UHH "Helitack 468" completed a flight out of and back to Rockhampton Airport.

And late on Friday 9 October, Townsville Airlines (Flightech Air Logistics) Beech B200 King Air VH-WZN popped into Rockhampton Airport, arriving from and later departing back to Cairns.

Also late on Friday 9 October, Brisbane-based Hewitt Cattle Australia P/L SOCATA TBM 700 VH-PGA was noted visiting Moura Airport from its Archerfield base.

Finally, also on Friday 9 October, Ipswich-based Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-PLE visited Bundaberg Airport from the Gold Coast.  It also appears to have visited on Wednesday 7 October.
