A pair of Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Lockheed C-130J-30 Hercules transport aircraft have called into Rockhampton Airport after dark on Friday 5 July and again tonight on Saturday 6 July.
The hercs are flying under the callsigns of "Mambo 32" and "Mambo 33".

It is believed that the two aircraft operating these flights are A97-448 and A97-450 - the latter pictured above at Townsville recently.
Information suggests that the hercs are arriving into Rockhampton from off the coast and later departing to Williamson Airfield in the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA).
