Some More Plane Spotting Photos from Gladstone Airport This Week

As well as the numerous Virgin Australia Embraer E-190 jets to call into Gladstone Airport this week, there has also been a wide assortment of other interesting arrivals to touch down at the port city, and local plane spotters Michael F, Jamie C and Tash C has been on the spot to capture some of the action!

Early on Wednesday 3 July, Michael captured a couple of lovely images of QantasLink Dash-8-Q400 VH-QOV as it departed on the early morning QLK2300 service to Cairns via Gladstone, Rockhampton, Mackay and Townsville.

Also on Wednesday 3 July, the Queensland Police Service (Airwing) Cessna 560 Citation Ultra bizjet VH-PSU popped into Gladstone from Rockhampton.  It later departed to Brisbane.

On Thursday 4 July, recently re-registered Shadforth's Plant Hire Raytheon (Beech) C90A (C90B King Air) VH-JEO visited Gladstone twice flying up to Ayr from, and back to the Sunshine Coast, via Gladstone.

Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Hawker/Beechcraft B200 King Air VH-FDI was also spotted visiting Gladstone on Thursday 4 July.

As was Rockhampton-based Cessna 210 VH-CSD.

It has certainly been a busy week at Gladstone Airport this week, and my sincere thanks go to the Gladstone plane spotters for their excellent coverage!  I'm sure there's more to come!
