It's been a busy week at Gladstone Airport this week with a total of nine Virgin Australia Embraer E-190 jet services, on top of the 'regular' scheduled Virgin Australia Regional Airlines ATR turbo-prop services from and back to Brisbane. Of course, QantasLink (Cobham Aviation) Boeing B717-200 jet services and QantasLink Dash-8 services continue to operateeach day.
In fact, sources indicate that there were as many as 18 various commercial departures during Friday.
Thanks to Gladstone plane spotters Michael F, Jamie C and Tash C for capturing the record-breaking action!
