The four grey helicopters that arrived on board the United States Air Force (USAF) Boeing C-17A Globemaster III transport aircraft this week have have been identified as United States Navy (USN) Sikorsky HH-60H Seahawks.
Research reveals that the Seahawks are flown by the Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 85 (HSC-85) "Firehawks", which is a United States Navy Reserve helicopter squadron based at Naval Air Station North Island, San Diego, California.
The four Seahawks spotted at Rockhampton Airport this week are believed to be (in order from front to back in the photo above) 165118 / NW-310, 165259 / NW-303, 165257 / NW-311 and 163785 / NW-312.
