More Gladstone Airport Specials on Monday Afternoon - Virgin Australia B737-800 VH-YVA and RAAF Challenger 604 Bizjet A37-003

In a very pleasant surprise for local plane spotters, Virgin Australia operated Boeing B737-800 VH-YVA into Gladstone Airport during the afternoon of Monday 29 July.

VH-YVA was noted operating as VOZ1715/1720, touching down from Brisbane after 4pm.

Meanwhile, in the pouring evening rain, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet A37-003 of the VIP 34 Squadron in Canberra called into Gladstone Airport on Monday 29 July from parts unknown as "Envoy 93".

The RAAF Challenger (along with Citation VH-CCJ - see Blog post below) appeared to be staying at Gladstone for the night.
