A Couple of Other Plane Spotting Photos from Gladstone Airport

As well as having AirServices Australia / Aero Pearl-operated Hawker Beechcraft B300 Super King Air VH-FIZ completing numerous calibration flights around Gladstone Airport, local plane spotters Jamie C and Tash C have sent through some photos of a couple of other visitors to the port city over the last couple of weekends.

On Sunday 1 December, Jamie and Tash spotted a couple of the morning QantasLink Dash-8-Q300 movements - VH-SBB heading North as QLK2308 - VH-SBT heading South as QLK2301.

Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Hawker Beechcraft B200 King Air VH-FDT was spotted mid-morning arriving from Brisbane, and later departing to Bundaberg, flying as "FlyDoc 436".

Finally, on Sunday 1 December, a couple of other light visitors were spotted by Jamie and Tash, including Aircraft Solutions (of Toowoomba) Cessna U206G VH-EPL.

Bayswater Road / Australian Aerial Mapping (AAM) Pilatus Britten-Norman BN2A-26 Islander VH-RQW was also noted arriving, presumably from Emerald, and then departing to parts unknown.

Meanwhile, on Monday 9 December AAM Reims F406 VH-EYQ was spotted arriving from parts unknown.

Lastly, the previous day, Sunday 8 December saw a couple of light arrivals in between the sorties by VH-FIZ and the usual commercial movements, including Hawker Beechcraft G58 Baron VH-EZD.

And finally, Mooney M20J VH-MKP was spotted as it passed through Gladstone arriving from and later departing back to the Gold Coast.

Sincere thanks to Jamie and Tash for capturing the action at Gladstone over the last couple of weekend!
