Around two weeks after emerging from a prolonged period of maintenance, Alliance Airlines Fokker F-70 VH-QQV operated its first flight into Central Queensland on Tuesday 3 December, flying into Gladstone Airport on a Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter flight as UTY654.

VH-QQV is latest F-70 to fly for Alliance.  It has been in the Alliance hangar in Brisbane since it was delivered to airline as YR-KMB.

Also touching down at Gladstone Airport late on Tuesday 3 December was Alliance F-100 VH-XWS, which was also operating a FIFO charter flight but as UTY650.
