Fellow Torres Strait Air Cessna 208B Grand Caravan VH-TLZ completed the same flight the previous day - see Blog post below.

It is presumed that both VH-WZP and VH-TLZ have both ferried to the South-East corner of the state to undergo planned maintenance at Archerfield Airport.

Of interest, the Far North Queensland operator now flys seven aircraft on passenger and freight charters throughout the Torres Strait and the Northern Peninsula Region. including Cessna 208 Grand Caravan VH-TLZ, along with an Aero Commander 500, four Islanders, and one Cessna (single piston) U206G.
