Alliance Airlines Fokker F-100 VH-XWR at Mackay and Moranbah Airports

Yes!  You did read correctly!  Alliance Airlines Fokker F-100 VH-XWR operated what appears to be a closed charter flight into Moranbah Airport on Friday 17 October.  To my knowledge, this is the first ever visit of a commercial jet into Moranbah.

VH-XWR arrived early on Friday from Brisbane as UTY550, and returned to the capital much later in the day as UTY551.

Meanwhile, VH-XWR called into Mackay Airport on Thursday 16 October, operating three return services on behalf of Virgin Australia as VOZ601/604, VOZ607/610 and VOZ613/614.
