Earlier, fellow RSAF Herc '733' departed Rockhampton for Darwin. It had arrived the previous afternoon - as reported below.
RSAF Herc '734' also arrived at Rocky from Darwin but as "Singa 9460". It had arrived at Darwin two days prior and was expected to arrive at Rockhampton yesterday but didn't.
The Herc appears to be staying overnight.
UPDATE! The RSAF C-130H Hercules '734' has appeared to have taken up residence at Rockhampton Airport with it noted flying sorties out of Rocky on Friday 10 October using the radio callsign of "Condor".
While he was Rockhampton Airport on Wednesday 8 October, local plane spotter 'IAD' also captured a great photo of the two RSAF Boeing CH-47SD Chinook helicopters resting peacefully in the late afternoon sun after flying sorties during the day using their unique radio callsign of "Cyclops".
Some great coverage - my sincere thanks to 'IAD' for sending through these photos and providing the additional information!
