Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign Bizjet VH-VPL Calls into Hervey Bay / Fraser Coast Airport

Making a surprise but most welcome visit to Hervey Bay / Fraser Coast Airport on Wednesday 8 October was Cessna 680 Citation Sovereign bizjet VH-VPL.

It called in from its Gold Coast base early in the morning and after some time on the ground, it departed back there later on Wednesday.

Also, Hawker Beechcraft G58 Baron VH-OMS called in to Hervey Bay early on Wednesday 8 October from its Toowoomba base. It the flew to the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour and back before returning to Toowoomba from Hervey Bay later in the day.

Finally, Seair Cessna 208 Caravan VH-LMZ departed Hervey Bay for Middlemount, before flying into Maryborough.  This was assumed to be a Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter flight.
