Some Photos from Bundaberg Airport Monday - Government Aircraft Joined by Careflight Lear VH-CXJ & Police Citation VH-PSU

What a great day at Bundaberg Airport on Monday 20 October!

As mentioned below, the Queensland Government (State of Queensland) Airwing Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-SGQ and Raytheon Hawker 850XP bizjet VH-SGY arrived into Bundy late on Sunday 19 October (as shown) and did indeed remain overnight.

VH-SGQ departed Bundaberg just after lunch for the Sunshine Coast and later Brisbane, while VH-SGY departed North to Townsville.

At the time of writing, VH-SGY is 'scheduled' to call into Rockhampton on Tuesday 21 October on its way back to Brisbane.

Joining the Queensland Government aircraft at Bundaberg Airport on Monday 20 October was Careflight Queensland (Aeromed) LearJet 45 VH-CXJ, which arrived from Brisbane around mid-morning.

It didn't spend long on the ground, departing soon after to Townsville.

As the afternoon went on, the Queensland Police Service (Airwing) Cessna 560 Citation Ultra bizjet VH-PSU called into Bundaberg near the end of a busy days flying where it was also noted flying into Maryborough, Mackay (see post below!), Townsville (twice), Cairns and Rockhampton.

VH-PSU departed Bundy for Brisbane.

Finally, a couple of 'lighter' aircraft noted calling into Bundaberg Airport on Monday 20 October included Beech 76 VH-AZX which arrived from its Gold Coast base, Gayndah-based Cessna U206F VH-IQU which visited from Rockhampton and finally, Seair Cessna 208 Caravan VH-LMZ was spotted early in the morning after arriving from Redcliffe and earlier its Gold Coast base.

VH-LMZ departed Bundy for Lady Elliot Island.

Thanks to the Bundy spotters for their great photos of such a great day in the rum capital!
