Channel 7's X-Factor Citation Brings Bizjets VH-TFW and VH-FCS into Chinchilla Aerodrome Wednesday

We don't normally report often on movements in the Surat Basin, but on Wednesday 15 October, the monotony of General Aviation Maintenance (GAM) Dornier 228 Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) movements into Chinchilla Aerodrome was broken as a nice pair of bizjets called in.  It is believed that these bizjets carried 'local' Meandarra boy Dean Ray, who is one of the final three contestants in the Seven Network's reality singing program 'X-Factor'.

First to call in late on Tuesday 14 October was Light Jets Australia Cessna 525 Citation CJ1 bizjet VH-TFW which touched down from its Toowoomba base late in the evening.  It then departed to Melbourne (Essendon) Airport early on Wednesday 15 October, before returning to the melon capital during the afternoon.  It then positioned back to Toowoomba.

Also calling in to Chinchilla Aerodrome on Wednesday 15 October was Australian Corporate Jet Centres / Fox Aviation Citation I/SP VH-FCS which also touched down from Essendon.  It was 'scheduled' to depart to Moree and then return to Essendon, but information suggests that VH-FCS may still be at Chinchilla.
