Cessna Citation Mustang VH-NEQ Departs While BAe-125-1000B VH-LMP Returns to Hamilton Island Airport

As reported below, Skypac Aviation Cessna 510 Citation Mustang bizjet VH-NEQ called into Hamilton Island Airport on Sunday 5 October from Bankstown.  It then positioned to Proserpine / Whitsunday Coast Airport where it remained parked until Wednesday 8 October when, just after dawn, it re-positioned back to Hamo on a short 8-minute flight.  After collecting passengers and bags, VH-NEQ departed Hamilton Island for Bankstown.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday 7 October, Shortstop Jet Charter British Aerospace BAe-125-1000B VH-LMP has yet again arrived at Hamilton Island Airport from Melbourne (Essendon) Airport.

Also flying into Hamilton Island Airport but on Wednesday 8 October was Cessna 500 Citation I VH-SOU.  It was reportedly due to fly in from Moree, after departing from Bankstown earlier in the day.  However, sources indicate that VH-SOU flew into Hamo directly from Bankstown.

On the lighter-side of aircraft movements, Brisbane-based Pilatus PC-12/47E VH-VTF called into Hamo on Wednesday 8 October from Maryborough and earlier, Archerfield.  It didn't stay long, departing directly back to Archerfield after around an hour on the ground.

Finally, the Queensland Government (State of Queensland) Raytheon Hawker 850XP bizjet VH-SGY called into Proserpine / Whitsunday Coast Airport from Brisbane on Wednesday 8 October.  It seems to be staying overnight and planned to depart on Thursday 9 October.
