Round Two of Singapore Airlines Charter Flights to Rockhampton Airport Started Tuesday Night

Late on Tuesday 7 October Singapore Airlines Boeing B777-200 9V-SVO touched down at Rockhampton Airport as SIA8931 direct from Singapore (Changi) Airport.

Local plane spotter Kayanne H was on hand as the big Boeing taxied to Gate 6 on the Southern end of the Rockhampton Airport apron.

This flight was the first of five touching down at Rocky this week in support of the Singapore Armed Force's Exercise Wallaby 2014.

9V-SVO departed a little later in the evening as SIA8932, returning directly to Singapore.
