Aviair (NT) Cessna 208B Caravan VH-NTC Calls into Longreach Airport

Very late on Thursday 4 April, Aviair Cessna 208B Caravan VH-NTC was noted passing through Longreach Airport while on a ferry flight home to Western Australia following planned maintenance at Redcliffe.

It appears that VH-NTC arrived into Longreach Airport directly from Redcliffe.  After taking on fuel, it departed to Mount Isa.

At the time of writing, it is due to continue to its Kununurra base in Western Australia late on Friday 5 April.

VH-NTC is one of three Aviair aircraft that have been or are currently undergoing planned maintenance at the Flinders Aviation facility at Redcliffe.  It had arrived into Redcliffe in late 2018.

Of the other two Aviair aircraft, fellow Cessna 208B Caravan VH-NCK returned to Kununurra from Redcliffe in late February, while Beech B200 King Air VH-MSM (which was formerly operated by the Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia (RFDS) currently remains at Redcliffe.
