Federal Election Campaign Brings PM Morrison to Gladstone Airport with RAAF B737-700BBJ A36-001 & Alliance F-70 VH-JFE

As we've mentioned, the Central Queensland-based Federal Parliamentary seats of Flynn, Capricornia and Dawson are some of the most marginal and thus more important ones during this Federal Election campaign.  On Friday 26 April, Prime Minister Scott Morrison was noted on the hustings around Gladstone having flown down late morning from Townsville.

PM Morrison and entourage were noted flying on board Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7DT(BBJ) A36-001 which was noted departing Townsville for Gladstone Airport as "Envoy 80".

Also noted touching down at Gladstone Airport from Townsville a little later on Friday 26 April was Alliance Airlines Fokker F-70 VH-JFE.  It has been chartered to by the RAAF to transport media around the campaign trail with PM Morrison.  VH-JFE was noted flying as "Envoy 40".

Engagements complete, Mr Morrison rejoined A36-001 and looked to depart Gladstone Airport for Canberra again as "Envoy 80".  While VH-JFE looked to depart Gladstone Airport for Dubbo in New South Wales again as "Envoy 40".
