LifeFlight (Aeromed) Bombardier Challenger 604 Bizjet VH-URR "Ambulance 604" Also at Longreach Airport

During the afternoon on Saturday 27 April, LifeFlight (Aeromed) Bombardier Challenger 604 bizjet VH-URR "Ambulance 604" was noted completing a medical evacuation flight at Longreach Airport.

It looked to arrive from and then later departed back to Brisbane.

Meanwhile, during the evening on Friday 26 April, the Townsville-based Queensland Government (QGAir) Rescue (State of Queensland) Agusta AW139 helicopter VH-EZJ was noted completing a pair of medical evacuation flights at Bowen and Mackay Hospitals.

On both occasions, it looked to fly from and back to its Townsville base and was heard using the radio callsign of "Rescue 521" for all its flights.
