Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) ANZAC Day 2016 Flypast Details for Central Queensland Monday

With ANZAC Day on Monday 25 April, the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) has released details of planned flypasts during Queensland commemorations - including some Central Queensland locations.

Details from the RAAF 'Flying Operations' website (http://www.airforce.gov.au/Operations/) indicate a single F/A-18F Super Hornet aircraft from Number 82 Wing at RAAF Base Amberley will conduct a flypast of Anzac Day commemoration activities on Monday 25 April around Queensland, including in Central Queensland at:
Hervey Bay - 10:22 am
Maryborough - 10:29 am
Eidsvold - 10:47 am
Agnes Water - 11:03 am
Calliope - 11:11 am
Mt Larcom - 11:14 am
Rockhampton - 11:22 am

Meanwhile, a single RAAF Super King Air aircraft from Number 38 Squadron at RAAF Base Townsville is expected to flypast at:
10:45am – Charters Towers

And finally, a single RAAF C-17A Globemaster from Number 36 Squadron at RAAF Base Amberley is expected to flypast at:
10:28am – Cracow, QLD
10:35am – Theodore, QLD
11:00am – Gladstone, QLD

The RAAF 'Flying Operations' wesbite contains a full Australia-wide list, and advises everyone that "Please note that flypasts have been allocated based on available resources, and are subject to operational and weather considerations. All activities and times are subject to variation."
