General Aviation Maintenance (GAM) Dornier DO 228-202 VH-VJD on Freight Run at Fraser Coast Airports Thursday

On Thursday 8 September, General Aviation Maintenance (GAM) Dornier DO 228-202 VH-VJE was noted operating the weekday freight run to the Fraser Coast from Brisbane.

During the early morning, VH-VJE flew from Brisbane to Gayndah via Maryborough and Bundaberg.  During the evening, it returned to Brisbane from Gayndah, again flying via Bundaberg and Maryborough.

The GAM flight is usually operated by one of the their AeroCommander 500-S aircraft.

Meanwhile, also on Thursday 8 September, four Becker Helicopter Services Bell 206 helicopters were noted calling into Bundaberg Airport - two in the morning and two in the afternoon - while on training flights from the Sunshine Coast.

VH-XJN, VH-NXZ, VH-XJQ and VH-NXW were noted calling in.

Finally, on Tuesday 6 September, Brisbane-based SOCATA TB-20 Trinidad VH-IPF called into Bundaberg Airport for the day arriving from and later departing back to Archerfield.
