A Few Other Lighties at Longreach Airport incl MAF Flight Design MC LSA VH-MBU

A few interesting light aircraft have been noted passing through Longreach Airport in recent days with the most interesting visitor being Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) Flight Design MC LSA VH-MBU calling in on a journey Northbound on Sunday 1 February.  It called in from Bourke and Charleville.

This week on Friday 6 February and earlier on Monday 2 February, Hinterland Aviation Cessna 404 VH-TFU as HND467 and an unidentified Cessna 402 as HND663 operated between Longreach and Windorah from Cairns.

Cessna 421C Golden Eagle VH-UTC also called into Longreach on Monday just after dawn from Mount Isa.  It departed to Baralaba and later Rockhampton and later home to Cairns.

Meanwhile, last week on Thursday 29 January, Pekal Aviation of Boggabilla (NSW) Partenavia P.68B VH-JQM called in from Goondiwindi.  It later departed to Quilpie.  While finally, Brisbane-based Van's RV-10 VH-LNL touched down at Longreach from Caboolture on Wednesday 28 January.  It returned to Caboolture two days later.
