It arrived from Cairns, where it had earlier arrived from Nadi and its San Jose base.

Its arrival caps off a great week of bizjet and other corporate action at Hamilton Island - and in CQ!  Also calling into Hamilton Island this week were Macau-based Bombardier CL-600-2B16 Challenger 605 B-LOL, which arrived on Monday 30 June, and was noted departing to Darwin on Thursday 3 July.

Also on Monday 30 June, EHC Holdings (USA) Dassault Falcon 900EX N311JA called in, flying from Ayres Rock to Townsville and then into Hamo.  It departed to Brisbane soon after.  Australian Corporate Jet Centres / Mitchell Air Cessna 560 Citation Ultra VH-WFE also called into Hamilton Island Airport on Monday as well.  On Saturday 28 June, Sunshine Air Services Raytheon Hawker 800XP VH-VRC called into Hamo briefly as well.

On Thursday 3 July, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7DT(BBJ) A36-001 conducted a missed approach at Rockhampton Airport.  The BBJ was noted to be using the radio callsign of "Envoy 7" and was believed to be flying from Townsville.  Reports suggest that A36-001 was also seen flying into Longreach Airport earlier on Thursday before flying onto Townsville and then Rockhampton.

As mentioned below, I spotted Business Aviation Solutions Cessna 750 Citation X bizjet VH-RCA parked on the Mackay Airport apron on Wednesday 3 July.

Out at Emerald Airport, Mackellar Mining Equipment / Flight Options (Australia) Cessna 560 Citation Ultra bizjet VH-MMC again called in from the Sunshine Coast, touching down on Tuesday 1 July and departing on Thursday 3 July.

Perhaps the 'star' arrivals at Emerald Airport however, touched down last Friday 27 June.  CAT Aviation Dassault Falcon 7X HB-JOB called in from Sydney using the flight number CAZ901 and the callsign "Eurocat 901", while ExecuJet Australia Bombardier CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-BLM also touched down from Sydney and departed to the Gold Coast.

Finally, Raytheon 390 Premier 1 bizjet N7088S touched down at Bundaberg Airport from its Mackay base on Saturday 28 June.  It departed back to Mackay on Sunday 29 June.

What a great week (or so)!!
