A Couple Other Light GA Visitors to Bundaberg Airport This Week - Multiple Becker Helicopters Bell 206s Thursday

On Thursday 23 June, Altitude Flight Operations (New South Wales) Brisbane-based Metro II VH-SSV departed Bundaberg Airport for Archerfield.  It had arrived the previous day from Mackay, Rockhampton and Gladstone.

The Metro may have been travelling in company with the Queensland Government Raytheon Hawker 850XP bizjet VH-SGY which also arrived at Bundy on Wednesday 22 June but from Mackay and Rockhampton.  On Thursday 23 June, VH-SGY departed for Mount Isa and then Brisbane.

Meanwhile, over the course of this week, there have a couple of other interesting light General Aviation (GA) aircraft to visit Bundaberg Airport.

On Thursday 23 June, Becker Helicopters Bell 206's VH-WCF, VH-XJQ, VH-XJK, VH-NXW and VH-WCF all made visits during the day and night from and back to their Sunshine Coast base.  Clearly, Becker Helicopters is in the middle of a rather large group of training flights with multiple visits into the Fraser Coast by their Bell 206s noted over the last few weeks.

Meanwhile, on Monday 20 June and Tuesday 21 June, three nice aircraft paid Bundaberg Airport a visit in the form of Brisbane-based Cessna 340 VH-LKM from and back to Archerfield, Vanderfield Pilatus PC-12/47 VH-WPH from Toowoomba to Mackay on Monday and back to Bundy and then Toowoomba on Tuesday, and SOCATA TBM-850 VH-PVM in from its Wagga Wagga base on Monday and then back there on Tuesday.

Finally, as this post is being written, Arnhem Land Community Airlines (Cairns) Cessna 206 VH-LHQ is scheduled to visit Bundaberg Airport on Friday 24 June, calling in from the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour.  It looked to arrive there from Mareeba on Thursday 23 June.
