Regional Express (REX) SAAB 340 VH-ZLC Operates Sports Charter to Mackay Airport Saturday

The run of weekend sports charters into Central Queensland continued on Saturday 18 June with Regional Express (REX) SAAB 340B operating into Mackay Airport from Cairns on behalf of Pel Air.

VH-ZLC operated into Mackay from Cairns as PFY9389 transporting, I believe, the Northern Pride Rugby League team to play the local Mackay Cutters in the Queensland Rugby League (QRL) competition.  After the game - which saw the Pride notch up another win - VH-ZLC departed Mackay Airport for Townsville and then Cairns as PFY9388.
