A Couple of Bizjets Come and Go from CQ Airports on a Busy Monday

On Monday 13 June, Revesco Aviation (of Perth, WA) Embraer EMB-500 Phenom bizjet VH-PNM departed the Whitsunday Airport at Shute Harbour on return South to Melbourne (Essendon) via Roma Airport.

It had arrived from Essendon via Roma last week on Saturday 11 June.

Incidentally, after arriving from Moorabbin and Essendon the previous day, the smart little Cessna 525 Citation M2 bizjet VH-WMY of Mitchell Water also departed Roma Airport on Monday 13 June but for Moorabbin.

Also believed to have departed CQ also on Monday 13 June was Divair Cessna 525B CitationJet CJ3 bizjet VH-NNE  which was due to depart from Hamilton Island Airport.  It was due to fly back directly to its Orange (New South Wales) base.  VH-NNE had arrived on Hamo also late last week on Friday 10 June.

Not quite a bizjet, but also departing Hamo on Monday 13 June was Lilydale Flying School (Victoria) 1966-built Beech D95A Travel Air VH-FLM.  It departed to Walgett and Melbourne (Moorabbin).  VH-FLM had arrived from there on Saturday 11 June.

Back on the mainland at Mackay Airport, locally-based Embraer EMB-550 Legacy 500 bizjet N142GZ returned home to Mackay from Brisbane also on Monday 13 June after flying South late last week.

Another familiar bizjet touching down at Mackay and Rockhampton Airports twice during Monday 13 June was the Queensland Police Service (Airwing) Cessna 560 Citation Ultra bizjet VH-PSU which looked to be on prisoner transfer duties.  It started and finished its busy day of flying at Brisbane and also visited Townsville and Cairns.

Finally, arriving into CQ once again on Monday 13 June was the familiar sight of Mackellar Mining Equipment / Flight Options (Australia) Cessna 560 Citation Ultra bizjet VH-MMC which once again touched down at Emerald Airport from its Sunshine Coast base.  It looked to be staying the night.
