First to arrive was MRH-90 A40-031 which arrived as "Warhorse 12" and later departed to Oakey.
Around 20 minutes later, a flight of three MRH-90's also touched down at Rockhampton Airport. The three choppers were flying as "Warhorse 01" and were identified as RAN marked A40-019, Army marked A40-010 and RAN marked A40-008. They too departed to Oakey.
Finally, a pair of Australian Army Boeing CH-47F 'Foxtrot' Chinook helicopters, believed to be A15-304 and A15-306 - also touched down at Rockhampton Airport from Townsville, flying together as "Fatboy".
The two Chinooks also departed Southbound, most likely to Oakey as well.
Meanwhile, Scott has also sent through some other photos he has captured at Rockhampton Airport of some other recent military visitors to the beef capital including United States Marine Corps (USMC) Lockheed KC-130J Hercules 168074 visiting on Tuesday 17 May as "Sumo 95".
And Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet A37-003, which touched down at Rockhampton Airport from Canberra as "Envoy 86" on Wednesday 18 May. It later departed North to Mackay Airport again as "Envoy 86".
Sincere thanks to Scott (and Colleen) for taking the time to capture and send through these great photos of some great visitors to Rockhampton Airport! Certainly worth the wait! :)
