Qld Police Raytheon B1900D VH-PSK Breaks Down at Mackay Airport - Qld Gvt Super King Air VH-SGQ to the Rescue!

On Friday 17 June, the Queensland Police Service (Airwing) Raytheon B1900D VH-PSK was on the prisoner transfer run down the Queensland coast and arrived into Mackay Airport from Townsville and Cairns.

It appeared to break down at Mackay (again!) and it appears that the Queensland Government (State of Queensland) Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-SGQ was summoned to take over the run flying from Brisbane to Maryborough Airport and onward to Rockhampton, Mackay, Townsville and Cairns Airports before later returning to the capital.

Much later in Friday 17 June, VH-PSK returned to Cairns from Mackay.
