Australian Helicopters Bell 412EP VH-PXY Departs Rockhampton Airport for Adelaide!

After operating around Rockhampton - and in support of a recently completed Australian Army Exercise in the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA) - Australian Helicopters Bell 412EP VH-PXY departed Rockhampton Airport for Roma early on Wednesday 1 June.

It then continued all the way to Mildura in Victoria, departing Roma and flying via Moree, Dubbo and Griffith.

Now on Thursday 2 June, VH-PXY was due to continue on its flight onward to Adelaide.

I suspect it will be operating in a med-evac role as a replacement for a locally-based helicopter.

What a journey!
