Extra Virgin Australia Flights Touch Down at Hamilton Island Airport on Monday

After the cancellation of all their flights into Hamilton Island Airport because of the rather inclement weather on Sunday 19 June, Virgin Australia operated two additional flights into Hamo on Monday 20 June from Brisbane and then Melbourne (Tullamarine) to catch up the backlog of stranded passengers.

Boeing B737-800 VH-VUK operated as VOZ9531/VA9536 from and back to Brisbane, while VH-YFN operated as VOZ9533/9534 from and back to Melbourne.

Meanwhile, as mentioned below, Business Aviation Solutions Cessna 650 Citation VII bizjet VH-DHN remains parked at Hamilton Island Airport after arriving from the Gold Coast on Sunday 19 June.
