Another interesting Papua New Guinea registered helicopter has been noted passing through Central Queensland while heading South. On Monday 6 June, Bell 407 helicopter P2-HFQ was believed to have called into a private helicopter facility near Emerald Airport after flying South from Cairns and Townsville. I believe it had arrived into Cairns from the North on Friday 3 June. Then early on Tuesday 7 June, P2-HFQ was heard to depart this facility at Emerald for Bankstown, with stops at Roma, Moree and Gunnedah.
Meanwhile, another nice helicopter ferrying through CQ on Saturday 4 June was Nautilus Aviation's new Airbus Helicopters EC 130 T2 VH-ZVO which ferried from Bankstown to their Cairns base via Bundaberg, Gladstone, Rockhampton, Mackay and Townsville. It appears to have flown into Bundy on Friday 3 June.
