A Triple Treat of Bizjets Touch Down at Hamilton Island Airport - N2QE - B-8270 - VH-SSZ

Within the space of 20 minutes on Tuesday 9 August, three lovely bizjets touched down at Hamilton Island Airport all from Sydney - including two that are registered overseas!

First to arrive was American-registered Bombardier BD-700-1A11 Global 5000 N2QE.  It was closely followed by Chinese-registered Star Jet (of Hong Kong) Gulfstream G-V-SP (G550) B-8270.

Finally, a locally-based bizjet in the form of Sundyne (Execujet Australia) Cessna 650 Citation VII VH-SSZ arrived capping of the action.

All three bizjets looked to be staying for at least the night.

Meanwhile, in a completely different location, the Queensland Government Raytheon Hawker 850XP bizjet VH-SGY called into Blackall Airport on Tuesday 9 August.  It flew from Brisbane to Cloncurry and onto Blackall before returning to Brisbane.
