Hinterland Aviation Aircraft Swap on the Rockhampton Airport to Labona Airstrip FIFO Run!

On Friday 7 August, Hinterland Aviation looked to complete an aircraft swap at Rockhampton Airport with Cessna 208 Caravan VH-ETF flying down from Cairns as HND663.

It then looked to complete one of the 'regular' Fly-in Fly-out (FIFO) charter flights to the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's Carmichael Coal Mine site from Rocky as HND331.  VH-ETF then flew down to Clermont Aerodrome as HND331 before returning to Rockhampton Airport as HND3311.

Meanwhile, during the afternoon on Friday 7 August, fellow Cessna 208 VH-TFS (pictured above) departed Rockhampton Airport for Cairns as HND663.

Finally, it's worth mentioning that also at Rockhampton Airport, also on Friday 7 August, Austrek Aviation Beech B200 King Air VH-WXO called in, arriving directly from Toowoomba and later departing to Archerfield and Toowoomba.
