LifeFlight (Aeromed) Canadair Challenger 604 Bizjet VH-OFA "Ambulance 614" Pops into Mackay Airport - Twice! - UPDATED!

During the afternoon on Thursday 27 August, LifeFlight (Aeromed) Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-OFA "Ambulance 614" was noted visiting Mackay Airport.  It looked to arrive from Townsville.

After over an hour on the ground, VH-OFA "Ambulance 614" was noted departing Mackay Airport for the Gold Coast.

UPDATE!  After spending some time at the Gold Coast, VH-OFA "Ambulance 614" was due to fly to Townsville but diverted back into Mackay Airport before eventually continuing to Townsville now in the wee small hours of Friday 28 August.

Meanwhile, as this post is being prepared, late on Thursday 27 August, Corporate Aircraft Charter (South Australia) Cessna 550 Citation II bizjet VH-ZLE has called into Barcaldine Airport.  It looked to arrive from and is now heading back to its Brisbane base.
