Mackellar Mining Equipment / Flight Options (Australia) Cessna 560 Citation Ultra Bizjet VH-MMC Back at Clermont Aerodrome - Plus More!

On Thursday 6 August, Mackellar Mining Equipment / Flight Options (Australia) Cessna 560 Citation Ultra bizjet VH-MMC was noted visiting my local Clermont Aerodrome.  It is the second visit by the sleek Citation into my local Airport in the past couple of weeks.

After just over an hour on the ground, VH-MMC returned to the Sunshine Coast.

It appears that the passengers from VH-MMC then joined Hinterland Aviation Cessna 208 Caravan VH-TFS, which arrived direct from Rockhampton Airport as HND310 and then departed up to the Labona Station Airstrip within Adani Australia's Carmichael Coal Mine site.  It soon departed up there as HND3101.

UPDATE!  On Friday 7 August, VH-MMC returned to Clermont Aerodrome, arriving back from the Sunshine Coast and later departed back there.  While fellow Hinterland Aviation Cessna 208 Caravan VH-ETF flew in from Labona as HND331 before departing to Rockhampton Airport as HND3311.  It had earlier arrived into Rocky from Cairns, completing an aircraft swap with VH-TFS - see Blog post above!

Meanwhile, in the wee small hours of Thursday 6 August, Corporate Aircraft Charter (South Australia) Cessna 550 Citation II bizjet VH-ZLE was noted visiting Roma Airport.  It arrived from Brisbane and Townsville and later departed back to the capital.

Finally, some lighter visitors to the region this week, included Flight One (Services) Cirrus SR20 VH-FOH which called into Rockhampton Airport from Archerfield before later departing to Hamilton Island Airport on Thursday 6 August.

It was joined on Hamo by three New South Wales-based lighties - Sequoia F.8L Falco VH-DJD, Cessna 182T VH-BMJ and Mooney M20J VH-VMQ.

Fly Australia Airlines (Charter) Cessna U206F VH-AEH looked to depart Hamilton Island Airport for Cairns before it later arrived into Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport.  Perhaps locally-based?

While Brescon (Toowoomba) Beech B200 King Air VH-WXN flew into Labona from Toowoomba-Wellcamp on Wednesday 5 August.  It returned direct to Wellcamp early on Thursday 6 August.

And also on Wednesday 5 August, Brisbane-based Piper PA-31-350 VH-RPV landed at Labona from Archerfield before later departing to Emerald Airport and back to Archerfield.  While Vanderfield Cessna 210N VH-JSC also popped into Emerald Airport from Longreach Airport before it later departed to Toowoomba.

And the Queensland Government Airwing (State of Queensland) Raytheon B300 Super King Air VH-SGQ which visited Maryborough Airport from Brisbane.  VH-SGQ also looked to visit Longreach Airport over Sunday 2 August and Monday 3 August.
