On Friday 7 August, Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Boeing B737-7ES / E-7A Wedgetail Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) aircraft A30-006 was noted completing a missed approach at Gladstone Airport.

A30-006 was flying as "Wedgetail 12" and flew up to Gladstone Airport from RAAF Base Amberley. After completing the airwork at Gladstone Airport, the Wedgetail departed to RAAF Base Williamtown.
