The Rockhampton Aero Club Hosting Round 3 Flying Competition Day at Emu Park Airstrip This Sunday!

Interested local aviators are reminded that the Rockhampton Aero Club Round 3 Flying Competition will be held this Sunday 13 October at the Emu Park Airfield.  The action usually kicks off around 10.00am.

The Competition is open to everyone - even if you have never flown a plane before - an instructor will be with you and will of course assist.  An entry fee of $5 is being set for all competitors, plus flight time.

Even if you want to come down to Emu Park and watch, spectators are most welcome - and it is FREE!

There is also a BBQ Sausage Sizzle, and Cold Drinks will be available, with all proceeds to the Rockhampton Aero Club's Social Club
