Making a surprise arrival into Gladstone Airport late on Friday 11 October was Virgin Australia Boeing B737-800 VH-VOS which was operating as VOZ383 from Brisbane to Townsville.

Local plane spotter Michael F arrived at the Airport just as VH-VOS taxied out in the continuation of the VOZ383 flight. It is still unclear why the aircraft popped into Gladstone.
