The Old Station Fly-in and Heritage Show at Raglan Raises $25000 for Capricorn Helicopter Rescue Service (CHRS)

Fantastic news in the Rockhampton Morning Bulletin newspaper that the RACQ Capricorn Helicopter Rescue Service (CHRS) has been presented with a cheque for $25,000, which are the proceeds from the very successful Old Station Fly-in and Heritage Show, which was held at Raglan in May.

This year's show was regarded as one of the great events, according to The Old Station Flying Club show organiser Leonie Creed.  "We had just under 200 aircraft fly in for the event, and while it's hard to gauge exact spectator numbers, we believe there was one of the biggest crowds we've seen."

Several highlights over the weekend included the flying displays of the gathered vintage warbirds, as well as a spectacular aerobatic display by Australia's Red Bull Air Race pilot Matt Hall.

Sponsors and helpers for the event were thanked for their input at the Creed property, The Old Station at Raglan, where the event was held.
