Friday 21 November, a formation of Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Pilatus PC-9/A training aircraft were noted to depart Townsville - where they have been participating in the RAAF's Exercise High Sierra - and fly overhead Rockhampton, before calling into the Hervey Bay / Fraser Coast Airport

They are believed to have taken on fuel before departing further south to Newcastle.
The PC-9s were heard to be using the radio callsign of "Reaper".
