VH-OFA later departed Brisbane before returning to Townsville, once again flying via Cairns.
As mentioned below, VH-OFA is one of three air ambulance jets that LifeFlight (Aeromed) have recently acquired that were previously operated by the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) VIP 34 Squadron. Of interest, VH-OFA previously wore the military serial A37-001 and was a frequent visitor to CQ Airports.
Of interest, VH-OFA has joined the RACQ LifeFlight fleet to airlift suspected or confirmed Coronavirus and other patients, from Queensland regional centres, under an upgraded deal signed off by the Queensland State Government recently. It appears to join fellow Challenger 604 VH-URR "Ambulance 604" and LearJet 45 VH-VVI "Ambulance 451" as a part of the deal.
