LifeFlight (Aeromed) Canadair Challenger 604 Bizjet VH-OFB "Ambulance 624" Calls into Mackay Airport Late Monday

Late on Monday 25 May, LifeFlight (Aeromed) recently acquired Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 604 bizjet VH-OFB "Ambulance 624" was noted visiting Mackay Airport.  It looked to arrive from Townsville where it now seems to be based.

Now in the wee small hours of Tuesday 26 May, VH-OFB "Ambulance 624" departed Mackay Airport for Brisbane before it then later returned to Townsville.

Meanwhile, it's worth noting that before dawn in Monday 25 May, Queensland Government (QGAir) Rescue (State of Queensland) Leonardo S.P.A. Helicopter (Agusta) AW139 helicopter VH-EGF "Rescue 521" looked to also complete a medical evacuation flight from Mackay to Townsville Base Hospital.
